MetalPrints represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – avoid direct sunlight.

Rebekah, the second matriarch of Israel. A woman who played an extraordinary role as the wife of Jacob. Part of the series deals with the awakening of our lives. The desert plays an essential part in three great religions. The written history is recorded in scrolls from the Torah, Bible, and Quran, written as rich poetic metaphors. Images of my sculpture pieces influence each layer. Light and color are emitted from the molded replicas of desert cacti. The Totem and Agave describe the ethos of the desert. The colors appear in a bio-luminescent spectrum, influencing my palette and the final image.
The color palette is influenced by the light spectrum created by casting a translucent layer of resin infused with rare-earth minerals. Inspiration for my color palette comes from the panoramic desert sunsets viewed from the studio. Pinks, blues, oranges, purples, yellow, greens, and white are created to be visible at night with the naked eye. “Following light in the desert wilderness is a theme deeply embedded in my consciousness and follows the ethos of the desert”.
